3D Modelling, Detailed Design and Manufacturing Documentation Services
We take on clearly defined tasks or an agreed share of your in-house technical team’s workload. The scope, input data, CAD version, deliverables, deadline and price are confirmed before work begins.
Mechanical Design and 3D Modelling
We develop new parts, assemblies, modules and structures, and modify existing ones, based on agreed technical requirements, sketches or existing documentation.
The Service May Include
- parametric 3D models of parts and assemblies;
- design of mechanical assemblies and modules;
- design of welded frames, sheet metal parts and industrial structures;
- modifying and adapting existing designs to meet new requirements;
- preparation of models for manufacturing documentation.
What You Receive
The agreed 3D models, ready for design review, further development and preparation of manufacturing documentation, in the formats and versions confirmed in advance.
For platforms, walkways, stairs, landings and guardrails, the scope of work and design responsibilities are agreed before work begins. Structural calculations and formal sign-off are not included as standard, but we can arrange them where required, by separate agreement.

Manufacturing Documentation
Using the 3D models supplied or those developed within the project, we prepare the documentation required for production preparation, procurement, manufacturing and assembly.
The Service May Include
- manufacturing drawings of individual parts with agreed dimensions, tolerances, materials, processing requirements and welding symbols;
- assembly and installation drawings with bills of materials (BOMs);
- drawings of welded structures and cut lists;
- flat patterns and DXF files for sheet metal parts;
- revision and adaptation of existing documentation to the client’s requirements.
What You Receive
The agreed set of manufacturing documentation, prepared in accordance with the confirmed standards, templates, identification system and client requirements.

DFM/DFA Analysis and Design Optimisation
We analyse parts and assemblies in relation to the agreed materials, manufacturing processes, available equipment, quality requirements and assembly methods. The aim is to identify design features that could unnecessarily complicate manufacturing, assembly and maintenance or increase their cost.
The Service May Include
- DFM analysis of sheet metal, welded and machined parts;
- DFA analysis of mechanical assemblies, including the number and complexity of parts, accessibility, orientation and joining methods;
- review of demanding tolerances, unnecessary operations, assembly difficulties and access for maintenance;
- proposed design modifications with priorities and technical justification.
What You Receive
A DFM/DFA report with clearly identified findings, proposed modifications, technical justification and the expected impact on manufacturing, assembly or maintenance.
By agreement, we apply approved modifications to the 3D models and manufacturing documentation. We assess the financial impact only when this is separately agreed and reliable data on quantities, times and costs are available.

Delivery Formats
CAD file formats and versions are agreed before work begins. Delivery may include native CAD files in the confirmed version, PDF documentation, DXF files and neutral 3D formats such as STEP, Parasolid and STL.
